If you are still trying to beat the heat the spray parks at both the Beachgrounds & Buttery Brook Parks are open until Labor Day. They will open every day from 10:30am - 7:30pm and are free to the public. Just touch the "bollard" and the fun begins!  

Fall Sport Registrations

We still have openings on some of our soccer teams and for our K-2 Flag Football League. Please register ASAP for these teams as many of the teams have started or will be starting shortly.

Winter Sport Registration

Winter Sport Registrations will start on Monday September 28th and will continue through Monday October 19th. The following nights we will be open for night hours from 6-7:30pm -- 9/28, 10/5 & 10/19. This is for K-8 Basketball & K-8 Wrestling. DARE Basketball registrations will remain open through Friday December 4th.

Over 30  Men's League

We are looking to start a new over-30 men's basketball league this fall. Play will be held weeknights from mid-September through mid-November at South Hadley High School. If you are interested in registering a team or would like more information contact Andy at or 413-538-5017 x132.

Adult Pick-Up Soccer

Pick up soccer plays on Sunday mornings at 10am at the Michael E. Smith Middle School. Must be at least 18 to play. Come with your cleats and shin guards ready to play.

Co-Ed Softball League

We are now accepting teams for the fall co-ed softball league. Games are played on Friday night and Sunday afternoons. If you are interested in starting a team, contact Andy at or by phone at 413-538-5017 x132

Women's Open Gym Basketball

Women's open gym basketball will take place on Tuesday nights at the Michael E. Smith Middle School from 7-9pm starting September 1st. Players must be at least 18 years old to play. There is no charge, just show up ready to play.

South Hadley Police Movie Night & Public Safety Fair

The South Hadley Police Department, in conjuction with the South Hadley Drug and Alchohol Task Force, South Hadley Fire District #1 and Fire District #2 and the Hampshire County Sherrif's Department would like to invite the citizens of South Hadley to attend a free Public Safety Fair, followed by a free Family Movie Night under the stars.

When: September 11, 2015 / 6-9:30pm. Rain date September 12th.

Where: Michael E. Smith Middle School

Activities: Tours of police cruisers, fire engines and ambulances. Child identification Iris scans, Educational booths.

Movie: Big Hero 6.

Concessions: Hot dogs, popcorn, and water will be provided free of charge.

Penguins & Polar Bears with Let's Gogh Art

In this fun, art-packed series, art explorers -- equipped with a myraid of unique materials, tools and techniques -- set out on an adventure across frozen tundra to discover life in and around the icy waters of the earth's Poles. for those in grade 2-4.

8 week session -- Wednesdays, 2:55-3:55 @ Mosier School Art Room

October 7-December 9 (no class 11/11, 11/25)

Tang Soo Do

Tang Soo Do will continue through the gall with the addition of a class for 5-6 years old! The fall session will begin on Monday August 31st in the Wellness Room at the Michael E. Smith Middle School. Classes will be held on Mondays, Wednesdays & Thursdays.

Little Dragons (Age 5-6) 6-6:30pm
Youth (Ages 7-15) 6:30-7:30pm
Adults (Ages 16+) 7:30-8:30pm

Cost: $30 per month (Youth & Adult Classes)
$20 per month (Little Dragons)
