Conservation Commission

About the Board

The Conservation Commission administers the Massachusetts Wetlands Protection Act and regulations, and our local Wetlands Bylaw. Our mission is to assist the public in understanding and following the wetland laws, to protect, and manage land for conservation and passive recreation purposes, and to promote the conservation of South Hadley’s wonderful natural resources.

Meetings

Meetings are typically held on Wednesday nights, usually the first and third Wednesday of each month. Meeting dates and deadlines may change due to unforeseen circumstances.
