Business Certificates

Massachusetts requires anyone conducting business under an alias (i.e., any name other than their own), including corporations, to file a business certificate in the community where their business is principally headquartered. The certificate is valid for 4 years and the filing fee is $40.00.

Dog Licenses

Hunting and Fishing Licenses

The South Hadley Town Clerk's Office no longer sells Hunting and Fishing Licenses. They can be ordered online at https://massfishhunt.mass.gov/.

Marriage Licenses

In order to obtain a marriage license, you and your intended spouse must file a Notice of Intention with the Town Clerk's Office. Click here to learn more about applying for a Marriage License. 

Raffle & Bazaar Permits

A nonprofit organization (which can show it has been organized and actively functioning as a nonprofit organization in the commonwealth for a period of not less than two years) may apply for a raffle permit. There is a $20 fee for applying for a Raffle or Bazaar permit. These are currently only available in person in the Town Clerk's Office.

Tag Sale Permits

Tag Sale Permits cost $10.00 and are valid for two consecutive days. Click here to apply online.

Vital Records
